“This young drawing whiz makes work....that conflates lapidary facture á la Gustav Klimt and the everyday eros of Elizabeth Peyton, with a dash of Neue Sachlichkeit” says Peter Schjeldahl in the New Yorker. Hope Gangloff paints and sketches a world of friends and colleagues where everyone’s a star. Though many have asked, Gangloff has turned away all sitters save those in her circle, until now! This is her one exception, exclusively through Susan Inglett Gallery, specifically for Grace School's 2014 auction,  one lucky bidder will be the subject of an exclusive drawing commission with Gangloff. She will arrange a fun photo shoot with the two subjects you would like to appear in your commission and complete the drawing in her studio. She is happy to consider the imaginations of the patron.  Gangloff has been the subject of solo museum exhibitions at the Broad Art Museum, East Lansing, MI and the Aldrich Museum, Ridgefield, CT. She is currently included in a four person show at the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, Kansas City, MO.

Hope Gangloff is represented by Susan Inglett Gallery in New York.
